It was our pleasure to share Lorna and Adam's special day, starting at Lorna's parents' beautiful home, where we had lots of laughs as the girls got ready, followed by the ceremony at the Providence Methodist Church, Golcar, conducted by the lovely Andrew. This was our first visit to this unusual building, where the church itself is upstairs. At the end of their marriage service we captured a big group photo and a hail of confetti on the steps and then we had to make the decision that due to the very strong winds, it would be best to photograph the family groups inside the church, which has a large open floor area, lots of space, tiered seating and plenty of natural light. The reception was held at Crosland Heath Golf Club, where Lorna's parents and grandma are regular players, and after the wedding breakfast and speeches we headed outside for a photo session with the new Mr and Mrs Savage. The light was soft and the wind had dropped and we had a lovely, relaxed time with this fabulous couple before the cake cut, first dance and party time. Congratulations to you both, thank you for booking us on the day when we first met you at a wedding fair last year and our sincere thanks for the pleasure of your company. X

We know that Caroline and Dan have been looking forward to this preview ahead of the presentation of their full set of images soon. They had a fabulous day celebrating their marriage at Waterton Park Hotel and got really lucky with great weather. The couple wanted to do a first touch before their ceremony and we were able to organise this for them with carefully worked out timings to allow for Dan to get back over the bridge in perfect time to meet with the registrar. We had a wonderful day with this gorgeous couple, who were very enthusiastic about their photographs, and that gives us so much joy. There was loads to capture, including their twin sons' ceremony entrance in a remote controlled car, their daughter who did an awesome job as flowergirl, the cake Dan's mum made, singing waiters, cold fireworks courtesy of Alicat Accessories and Events, a magician and a smoke gr***de finale. We were kept very happily busy! Congratulations to the new Mr and Mrs Render and huge thanks for booking us! X

Lauren and James chose Oulton Hall Hotel for their celebrations and it's a venue we love! We love the staff too - they're amazing - including the fabulous Ashleigh who took good care of everyone on the day. There is a lovely, warm atmosphere about Oulton Hall and we always feel so welcome, not to mention it's pretty good even if the weather isn't. Our second wedding in two days and once again we struck lucky with sunshine (better not say it was too sunny), which was incredible really, given that since then it's been more like autumn than summer. Lauren, James, their families, bridal party and guests were amazing! The couple never stopped smiling and the joy on their faces and their enthusiasm for their wedding day and their photographs was a delight, as was their obvious love for each other. Not only did they have the perfect day, we did too. Thanks go to Oliver Mitchell, who filmed this beautiful wedding, for being brilliant to work with, as always, and for being an all round nice, helpful guy. The biggest thanks though go to the fabulous Mr and Mrs Vincent for booking us. Congratulations guys! X

Oulton Hall

We love it when clients return for us to capture the most important milestones in their lives. We photographed Charlotte and Ryan's wedding last year and they have become friends, so we were over the moon to hear that they are to be new parents. It was a pleasure to welcome them back to our studio for a maternity portrait session to celebrate this special time in their lives before their little one arrives. We can't wait to see them again when this beautiful couple become a family of three, and meet their precious new addition, who we know will be cherished beyond words. X

We had our first visit to the spectacular Walton View Hotel for the wedding celebrations of Amanda and Cornelius, who enjoyed a day of sunshine, one of very few so far this "summer". It really was a scorcher! We had a fabulous time with this wonderful, fun and friendly couple and they told us afterwards that they wouldn't change a thing and wished they could do it all again. We were very impressed with Reece, the venue's wedding coordinator, who, along with his staff, made us feel so welcome. He really did go out of his way to make sure everything was perfect for Amanda, Cornelius and their guests. He allowed us plenty of time for before dinner photographs, making it more relaxed for everyone, he made time to come and chat with us and keep us informed of everything we needed to know throughout the day, and he even made sure that the bar area was clear and tidy during a lull so that we use it as a background and quickly capture a few portraits of the new Mr and Mrs Price before the guests returned for drinks. Thank you Reece, you were fab! Huge congratulations and sincere thanks to Amanda and Cornelius for the pleasure of your company! PS Better give a quick mention to Cornelius's pride and joy - apart from Amanda - his lorry 🙂 X
