And just like that… our wee girl is FIVE 🥹🎀

Honestly, where does the time go?

It feels like no time ago she was this tiny wee thing and now here she is, full of chat, full of personality and keeping us all on our toes…

Five years of the funniest wee sayings, the biggest laughs, the cuddles and all those small everyday things you don’t really think about at the time… but know you’ll miss like mad someday.

Being a photographer, I’m forever telling other people how important it is to capture these stages while they’re here….but there’s something very different about looking through the camera and it being your own wee girl looking back at you 🥹

And getting to take her 5th birthday photos in the new studio made these ones that wee bit more special 🤍

One day, these will be their favourite photographs 🤍

Not because the weather was perfect.

In fact, there were dark clouds, umbrellas close by, and more than a few glances at the forecast throughout the day ☔️

But none of that is what they’ll remember.

They’ll remember the excitement.
The laughter.
The happy tears.
The people who travelled near and far to celebrate with them.
And the feeling of finally becoming husband and wife.

Because years from now, it won’t be the weather that matters.

It’ll be how the day felt.
