✨ WHAT A WEEKEND. ✨
Me and my family had honestly had the most amazing time at Festival.
A huge thank you to every family who came along and played, explored, and got messy with us. Seeing all your little ones smiling, exploring and having fun made it all so special.
A massive thank you also to the amazing volunteers who helped us in the Toddler Tent and Family Wellbeing Area. We couldn’t have done it without your support, kindness and energy.
Thank you to the Eden team for having us, and to all the beautiful people we met along the way. We loved every minute and we’re already looking forward to seeing you all again next year.

But the fun doesn’t stop there -
We’re back this weekend for our Messy Play & Crafts Summer Special with Haugh Hub.

Me and my family had honestly had the most amazing time at Eden Festival.

WE’RE BACK IN FULL SWING THIS JUNE

After a busy start to the year behind the scenes, Wee Messy Crafters is back out doing what we love most – bringing messy, creative fun to families across Dumfries and Galloway.

This month we’re thrilled to be part of:
🌿 Eden Festival 2026 – Kids Area
📅 11th–15th June
We’re heading into our 4th year at Eden Festival in the Children’s Area, bringing hands-on messy play and creative crafts for little festival goers.

A Collaboration with Haugh Hub & Wee Messy Crafters
We’re kicking off our summer messy play sessions with a special morning of creativity, sensory play and hands-on fun on Sunday 20th June @10:30am – 12 noon in Haugh of Urr Village Hall

🎪 Youth Beatz 2026 – Big Top Children’s Area
📅 27th–28th June
We’re also excited to be part of the revamped Big Top Children’s Area at Youth Beatz this year – a space packed with workshops, activities and performances for under 12s

And we’re also running more event over the summer holiday

Such a lovely morning at our Easter Craft Workshop.

We had so much fun getting creative today, lots of happy crafters, colourful creations, and of course a bit of a lovely mess.
From decorating bunnies to making Easter baskets and exploring all the craft materials, it was amazing to see everyone’s imagination come to life.

Thank you so much to everyone who came along, I loved having you and for Crichton Central for giving us the space.
It’s definitely given me food for thought about doing more sessions in the Dumfries area, especially during the holidays.

If you couldn’t make it this time, don’t worry… we’ll have more sessions coming soon.

🎉 Isla’s 8th Birthday Celebrations. 🎉

This weekend we had a fabulous messy play craft party celebrating Isla’s 8th birthday, and what an amazing time it was.

It was so lovely to see all her friends getting stuck into the creativity, surrounded by fun animal-themed activities. The imagination flowing around the room was just wonderful,
and of course it wouldn’t be a special messy play party without a potion tray. Which was a very important special request from Isla herself.

Thank you so much for having us back again to celebrate your birthday, we love being part of your special day.
