ACT are providing a fun, traditional signwriting and banner making workshop in Auchencairn village hall. You will have the chance to try your hand signwriting skills and help make a banner for ACT to use at their events, with all the materials provided. The workshop will be led by Cate Ross, a local professional artist. All for free!

Places are limited, please email [email protected] to book. Places will be allocated on a first come first served basis, so don't delay! Tea and coffee will be provided.

ACT are excited to be hosting a 'Carbon Literacy' training session at Auchencairn village Hall on Monday 31st August from 10am-3pm, as part of our Climate Ready Communities Fund programme. This Certified Carbon Literacy training is provided by the D&G Climate Hub (Galloway and Southern Ayrshire UNESCO Biosphere).

Being carbon literate creates awareness around climate change, the climate impacts of our everyday actions, and how to create a positive shift in our lives, work and behaviour to respond to the climate crisis.
