Another gorgeous day for Rowan and Adam! The secrets to salads looking this good is the kitchen being *a bit* on a hill - never a problem for us, we obviously travel with very handy little bits of wood cause we’re resourceful girls ✨

Beef larb lettuce cups were 🤌, Ella looks SO cute with those puttanesca arancini, delicious fried chicken canapés in the sun, a really lovely decorated tent. Another gorg saturday down in Dorset x

The crossover into early autumn might be the best time for seasonal produce - who could complain about getting the last really sunny tomatoes and all the good squash too?!

We were back at one of our favourite spots Harewood Forest Weddings for Emma and Maxim recently. Early September sun in that outdoor dining area is ✨so✨good✨

Grazing, fizz, our fave Tuscan creamy beans topped with confit toms, roasted red onion & squash, pickled chillies and gremolata, BBQ lamb & tea brined chicken, lots more BBQ peaches. The best late summer things.

Then wedding cake for pud - we’re big fans of serving it with berries and local cream to make sure it gets eaten, not forgotten and wasted x

A beautiful Herefordshire meadow, a very classy tipi lunch party, some very sexy salads and BBQ Andrew Moore lamb & chicken in true Sunflower style. We get to go to the most gorgeous places and do the nicest things! Love it x 🌻

Photos? Of mains? I shouldn’t think so. Managed to not nab any pics of the main event, but you can just take my word for it that it was cute and delicious as ever. An *almost* entirely dairy free menu for a dairy free bride at the Guildhall the other day! A very grand setting for a very lovely day for Hannah and Ollie. Late night chicken gyros to keep the dancers dancing were also 🤌

A huuuuuge celebration for Lexi and Alex at the end of August! Really delicious menu using their beef from the farm, loads of canapés, loads of cremant, an enormous team with loads of our favourite faces. Scroll to the end for Chloe making our cuties do a run through of very posh service. Love it!

Fave canapés of the day -
🍇 Roasted grape, whipped goats cheese & crispy sage toasts
🐟 Mere trout tartare, dill oil, chives
🍗 fried chicken with tarragon mayo & bread and butter pickles
🍑 grilled peach and whipped feta toasts
🍅 pan con tomate - so simple, so chic x

A lady never reveals her age but this one has a very important birthday today. Huuuuge birthday love to our lovely lead lady Lavs - the perfect measures of silly and cunning, loving and tough, badass and complete softie. Always in the kitchen at parties. Always with a fag in hand, hilarious one liner at the ready, BBQ on. An absolute joy to be around and work with I reckon you’ll all agree. Happy birthday Mrs Sausages ###

A very sweet birthday party last weekend for us. Some fave canapés - goats cheese and peach toasts, gochujang pork and mushy arancini - followed by plated starters of home hot smoked Mere Trout. Platters of steak in the MOST delicious cafe de Paris butter, along with pesto potato salad, heritage tommy salad and really good Wild Garden leaves with lots of yummy bits. Burnt basque cheesecake with blackcurrant compote and one of the guests doing tricks in his biplan

Big bowls of choccy mouse and tiny pavlovas to accompany bride-baked wedding cake! Can’t seem to get away from that steak with chimichurri atm but I’m not complaining. The best Wild Garden leaves with charred leeks and green beans, August deliciousness. Our lovely gals with a very good canapé selection, plus our mismatched vintage china making the tables look very cute. Dreamy!

As per usual, got loads of pics of canapés and not a single one of mains - but they happened, we promise!! Scroll for Bailey and Esme’s summer solstice wedding menu at Chew Valley Weddings. Banger of a menu, banger of a party. Very lovely to get to work with our faves Bloody Mary Jane’s on this one! And just look at how big that pan of prawns is! Wow!
