The end of August ❤️ this lovely colourful one was for Karen yesterday.

I have to say that I'm very excited about seeing Autumn this year, prehaps more than ever. It's nice to hear the sound of rain again and I think the trees will be glad of it too. It's been my busiest August ever for weddings and floristry, and it's time I turned my attention back to the field. Autumn planting and planning, here I come :)

This one was for lovely Chloe, who married Ben last week ❤️

And just like that, it's August. For Rhian last week - All the peachy orange sunset flowers - dahlias, cosmos, zinnias, snaps, marigolds, gomphrena, scabious.
It looks like it's going to be another hot week, this week. I've got used to just not expecting any rain. I'm anticipating an early end to the season this year - usually I try to go into mid October, but with all this heat I'm thinking the flowers will be burned out long before then - we'll see!

A little list of all the flowers in Alice's bouquet, so she can plant some in her garden 😊 The honeysucle is my Granddad's, it used to grow behind the window that he sat infront of, up the side of the shed. Mum said it's been in the family for over 100 years. It came down from Stoke on Trent first to Dursley, then Gloucester, now we have a piece of it here in Pontyberem.

A few from the field.
