Hi guys, how time flies.
Exactly 2 years ago today I handed in my keys to Old Hall Cafe.
After 17 years serving Petteril Bank School and having an amazing community Cafe my time was up lol 😂.
I started Scotby school in September 2023 and the school meals have just gone from strength to strength.
To still be able to use the kitchen at Scotby school to provide Sunday lunches and outside catering whenever I want does works so well.
The customers that used Old Hall Cafe now regularly ordering takeaway Sunday lunches from Scotby school kitchen when I choose to do them does mean so much to me.
Often bumping into cafe customers and having little chats and Old hall Cafe always gets brought up in conversations.
Just proves we had something very special.

Hi guys, busy day , early start making cakes 🍰 for year 6 Leavers assembly this morning .
41 amazing polite pupils now moving on to secondary schools.
Not only teaching staff get gifts at Scotby School 😂 we have been spoilt again. Thank you for all your kind words , cards and gifts and it has been a pleasure making , cooking , serving your school meals.

Hi guys,today we had the honour of feeding this years Scotby years 6’s.(40 pupils in total)
It has been an absolute pleasure feeding these pupils at Scotby School.
Always very complimentary every day after having dinners.
We wish them well as they will soon be leaving to go to secondary school in September.

Hi guys, busy few weeks at Scotby School.
Numbers are still high for school dinners, with the warmer weather we have had recently I was expecting them to go down a little.
The amount of kids now asking for extra and eating fruit and vegetables is very rewarding.
Now another weeks holiday.
Loving these holidays now I’m getting paid for being off lol😁.
Thank you Scotby parents and pupils for choosing School dinners.

Hi guys, what a great day for Scotby C of E school to celebrate VE DAY.
Over 200 VE DAY Tea boxes made today. Great weather so why not have it outside in the lovely play ground all decorated ready for celebration lunch.

Hi guys, Big Thank you to all who had our Sunday lunches today.
Not having to advertise our Sunday lunches on Facebook atm as we have repeat customers that have them when we decide to do them .
Your support is very much appreciated..also 7 Staff from Scotby school who had dinners today .. Thank you and I will feed you during the week 😁😋👍.

Hi guys, busy first day back at Scotby School.Pioneer Pork and tomato sausage , Meatballs in a rich gravy, Yorkshire, mashed potato and mixed vegetables.
Lots of happy kids at dinner time … lots asking for extra lol .. love it !!
Job done ✔️
Roast Chicken dinner tomorrow, potatoes, 2 veg served with sage and onion stuffing and gravy.

Hi guys, 2 weeks off work .. must admit I think we are all ready for a break.
Busy days at Scotby School. High volume of children now having school dinners ✅.
Amazing feedback and all pupils very polite. We had a Movie night this week, Interval break we done Hot dogs with fries .. and today a little Easter treat .. cakes and cookies went down a storm.

Hi guys, just wanted to say a BIG THANK YOU to all who are still supporting me at old hall catering .
Since leaving the cafe ( 2 years in July)
I’m still able to have the catering business to do catering at Scotby school whenever I want .
My main job is being Catering manager at Scotby school and old hall catering does take second place .. my choice.
Having such understanding customers who still order my dinners when I choose to do them does mean so much to me .
