Once in a Blue Moon!

A huge thank you to everyone that came down to The Brickyard on Thursday 20th July 2023. The bands performances were amazing and the atmosphere the audience created was phenomenal.

Due to unforeseen circumstances the band Placeholder has had to pull out of tonight’s performance at The Brickyard.
Us at Music Horizon wish all the members well.

However, in light of this news we have another great act lined up for you this evening.

We have a number of bands performing all night for you, with a wide variety of genres and music from the 60s all the way through to the current day. From pop to tribute acts to hard rock, there is something for everyone.

Introducing… Bottled Smiles

We’re Bottled Smiles, a newly formed 4-piece band based in Carlisle. Our band consist of Indie Moscrop on vocals and rhythm guitar, Harry Day on lead guitar, Jonny Trotter on bass and Josh Graham on drums and backing vocals. As a group, we take inspiration from classic and hard rock acts throughout the ages, so there will be plenty for you to join in with.

Band Next Door seeks to answer that question. Giving a unique experience of a concert, as one act, almost parodying those bands many of us have all heard making a racket next door. Which always leaves us wondering who they think they are?

Introducing… Pending

Pending is an indie bedroom pop band that takes inspiration from artists such as Mac Demarco, Radiohead and Men I Trust and have been experimenting with a variety of musical techniques to display at their shows and put on a fantastic performance. Within this band we have Jack Jackson and Dan Goodman alternating between lead vocals, rhythm guitar and lead guitar, Sophie Messenger on bass, Ross Mcnally on keys and Charlie Miller on drums.

Introducing… Supersonic

Supersonic, some might say we’re Cumbria’s most biblical Oasis tribute act. We are here to accurately replicate the sights and sounds of peak Oasis, with a variety of classic anthems and deep cuts. We’ll be sure to have you feeling “supersonic” and drinking gin and tonic. Supersonic consists of our lead singer Thomas MacGregor, rhythm guitarist and backing vocalist Ben Penney, lead guitarist Drew “Drewberto” Young, drumming GOD Sam Roberts and our bass player Joe Maughan.
