Hi everyone! 🌿 Cardboard Needed

We’re doing a big push in the gardens at Kirklinton Hall and are looking for plain brown cardboard to use for mulching and w**d suppression.

If anyone has large amounts of cardboard they’re happy to give away, I’m planning to spend a couple of evenings driving around locally doing cardboard collections.

The only type we can use is raw brown cardboard so no tape, no plastic coating, and no glossy printed boxes please. Plain delivery boxes are perfect!

If you’ve got some piling up that you’d like rid of, just comment below or send me a message and I can arrange to collect.

Also, any time you receive a large delivery and end up with loads of brown cardboard, please feel free to pop me a message rather than taking it to the recycling centre we’re always looking for it for the gardens and are very happy to collect locally.

Thank you so much, it really helps the gardens here! 🌱

MOTHERS DAY AFTERNOON TEAS

While the café is closed until April, our baker Joanne is still busy baking… and she’s doing her beautiful Afternoon Teas as takeaways

If you’ve had one before, you’ll know how amazing they are. THE BEST homemade scones, and the most delicious little cakes all made by Joanne.

If you’d like to book a couple for Mother’s Day then just pop a message through to Joanne on 07752105961 or email [email protected]

🌿 Gardening Volunteers at Kirklinton Hall

Over the past couple of years, we’ve been slowly restoring the gardens here at Kirklinton and we truly couldn’t be doing it without our wonderful team.

We are so incredibly grateful for our amazing gardener, Kate, and our fabulous volunteers Claire and Paul. The time and energy they put into this place means more than I can say. 🌱

As the season approaches and the garden begins to wake up, we’d love to expand our little team.

If you:
• Love being outdoors
• Enjoy practical gardening
• Want to be part of restoring a historic space
• Don’t mind muddy boots and fresh air

… we’d love to hear from you.

☕ Tea & coffee provided
🥪 Lunch included on café days
🌱 Flexible commitment, even occasional help makes a real difference
