🌴✨ MALTA, here we come! ✨🌴

To have the chance to play after the DEFECTED Party this week, I had to dive headfirst into the world of digital after years of only spinning records (since I was 16!)… old dog, new tricks! 🐶🎶 Still plenty to learn, but I’m pretty chuffed with my neuro-diverse brain for making it happen 🙌

So chuffed, in fact, I’ve recorded my first ever digital mix to get us in the mood for Malta 💃🕺 Play it LOUD while you’re packing, or blast it in the hotel while you’re getting ready to go out!

Massive thanks to Adam for the kit, Vicki for the smart tutoring, Shane and Sandro for the advice - Couldn’t have done it without you all! Oh and Phil Rose for the exclusive track I’ve dropped into the mix ❤️

got into house music in late 80’s, got his first decks in 1990 and started buying rave stuff, He was out clubbing locally every weekend. Then he went to the Hacienda early 91 and heard Graeme Park playing us house and garage and was hooked!

He opened Rhythm Xpress Records in 1994 and started Djing at a house night called Jumpin that he promoted alongside Paul Thompson, bi weekly on a Friday night with guest DJs inc. Scott and Scooby from Shindig, Eliott Eastwick from Hard Times and Tom Wainwright from the Hacienda. Mid 1996 we got together with Pete James and started Fresh N Funky every Saturday night in Legends. Plus a residency at the legendary Perfect night that ran monthly at Legends from 1998 till 2000. Played guest slots in London, Manchester and loads of local nights like Lucid and Crush. Started an event residency at the Front Page in 2001 called Freeze, monthly Friday nights with Steve Delucchi and brought guest DJs such as Graeme Park, Cj Macintosh, Lottie, Kklass, Tom Wainwright, Seamus Haji, Norman Jay, Tim Deluxe, Allister Whitehead.

In 2004 sadly Rhythm Xpress closed as most people had started to play cd,s and Im he retired as a dj.. inevitably coming out of retirement to do a few local gigs and still do the odd one now and then, vinyl only DJ, he’s tried digital but it’s for him. Most recently spinning at popular local event UNITY and the closed the night in old school style at HIGHlife Afterparty 🙌

has been a dynamic, industrious and vastly experienced DJ & Producer for over 30 yrs. A sought-after remixer and respective music producer, the Italian DJ who is based just outside Manchester is also a grade eight session drummer. His love for electronic music began in the summer of 1990 when he was inspired by the early acid house sound, which at the time was giving birth to acid house warehouse parties that were being staged in and around a small town called Blackburn, where he grew up and lived throughout his teenage yrs to his early 20’s.

In 95 through a mutual friend he was introduced to a local Bolton based dance band outfit called ‘The Love Decade’ whose top 20 dance hits titled ‘So Real’ and ‘Is This a Dream?’ released on independent record label ‘All Around The World’ on his doorstep in Blackburn. This opportunity inspired him to learn and start working on projects as an up and coming music producer with the help and inspiration of the label and the band.

Over the next 10 yrs he quickly gained the skills as a music producer and dedicated all of his studio time producing and remixing for many artists and DJ’s. In the summer of 2006 his big break came when major dance label ‘Hed Kandi Records’ selected his debut single ‘Sandro Feat Estel ‘Tocca La Musica’ for their Beach House comp. Going from strength to strength his debut remix was ‘Vee Scott ‘Gimme Your Love‛ released on Universal Music BMG UK. This was later signed up and play listed on Hed Kandi’s Disco Heaven’ comp. released in the summer of 2007.

His biggest break came when he was asked to co-remix 2 singles ‘Seven Days in Sunny June’ and ‘Dynamite’ from Jamiroquai’s 2005 Album titled ‘Dynamite’ which was released on Sony Music BMG. This accolade earned him enough respect to go on to remix and release many more projects. Fast forward to 2025, and his productions and remixes has graced many established house labels from across the globe.

is a dark horse, he’s been in to dance music since he was 15. Started playing with decks in the early 90’s. Over the years a multi-genre DJ initially inspired by the 80-90’s sound of the underground Chicago House and Detroit techno music scene. As a teenager visiting many of the top clubs in the heyday of the rave and house music scene, such as Hacienda Manchester, Legends Warrington, Quadrant Park, Sequins and more in and around the North of England and the Midlands.

His particular favourite music styles now range from deep vocal house and upbeat piano tunes carrying a funky disco vibe. Always listening out for that happy house vibe to energise your mood and uplift your spirit. 🎧

We recently seen Mark ignite the dancefloor at HIGHlife in Carlisle and we can’t wait to have him join us behind the decks again in the Shack !! 🙌

🤩 DJ, Born and bred in Carlisle, frequented the popular Melting Pot nightclub and music venue over a decade ago. After casually experimenting with turntables with friends, his passion for music and the scene, later gained him a residency there. Since then entertaining crowds at numerous events.

Most recently playing in local venues and festivals including; Party Lover Disco at Jungle Boogie, Loco Events, Party Eh, Culture, and spinning alongside Paul Taylor and Ben Taylor for Retro Events. As well as regular nights in Paradiso Bar and Lounge.

Dean is a multi-genre DJ, who seamlessly mixes Classic and Old School House into Disco and Edits, and everything in-between, a crowd pleaser, intuitively dropping the right tracks at the right time. Modest, grounded and deeply committed to creating a proper vibe on the dancefloor, gaging energy levels and elevating moods, Dean makes sure the crowd has a good time.

Guaranteed to tear up the dancefloor! 🙌

Shane has been DJing for 38 years and counting spinning multiple genres. Hosting his own club nights Vertigo and Evolution as well as being weekly resident in Legends, guest appearances at Fresh & Funky late 90’s as well as Friday night for Perfect. Most recently Shiny Disco in Carlisle, LGBT Manchester and at festivals in France & Malta and currently play a fortnightly show “House Nation” every second Sunday on House Music Radio. Recently known as the King Of Disco after spinning that genre for the most part.

We can’t wait to get DISCO down with Shane !! 🙌
