Elena and George’s wedding just radiated love and laughter - and the same was true of the months of prep we put into ceremony planning before the big day. 🫶

I love getting to know my couples - and it is such a bonus as a celebrant when I get to know the friends and family too! The extra stories and observations about them as individuals and as a couple - you can feel the pride and love they have for them 🤩

Have you heard of “priodas coes ysgub”? ♥️🧹🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

Roughly translated, it’s a “broomstick wedding” yn Gymraeg - but allow me to dust off my witch’s hat & explain…! 🧙‍♀️

I was thrilled when one of my couples asked me to include this almost-forgotten Welsh tradition in their ceremony. I read a LOT of the history of it too - so many versions in folklore - and the symbolism is lush too❤️

The result? An high-octane ceremony finish that had the whole room counting down yn Gymraeg! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

A Reel in which I wear hats… and talk Marriage Law reform! 🎩

… because it turns out being both a celebrant and a public affairs consultant comes in handy when marriage law reform hits the headlines! 💍 📰

As a Welsh celebrant, I’d love to see a future where couples have even more freedom to celebrate their marriage in ways that reflect their language, culture and community 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 ❤️

And yes… I still firmly believe that Calon Lân shouldn’t be off limits simply because you’re not getting married in a church. 😉

Introducing Divas yn Darllen! 📚✨

My new series where divas showcase some readings which I reckon would be perfect for ceremonies! 💋

This is “Cariad” by the wonderful Welsh poet , shared here with her kind permission (diolch, Llio ❤️). Geiriau arbennig, llawn cynhesrwydd 🛁 dwi’n caru’r darn ma!

❤️So… what’s the booking process?!

Well - this is a bit more about how we get started!

When it comes to creating your ceremony - I don’t just turn up on the day, I’m with you every step - from the initial discovery meeting to the ideas chats along the way - it’s a process all about bringing your vision & hopes for the ceremony to life! Ultimately my goal is for you to relax & know that your are in safe hands with the QOH ❤️😉👑

📆 A question I also get is: “When should we book?” The answer is there’s no magic number. I’ve had couples book me 18 months in advance - and others who got in touch just weeks before their wedding! If I’m available - I’d love to see if we vibe!

Pre-ceremony sneak peek! Filmed just before the magic began ✨🏰

I filmed this just before the guests arrived for the most gorgeous wedding ceremony at the Banqueting Hall - in the hottest week of the year (decade? century?!)

This room was literally designed to be a room for gatherings and celebration! It’s a Victorian spin on a Noble Hall from the Middle Ages - and it took 15 years to create fact fans…

The calm before the celebration. Just a celebrant taking in the ceremony space! Take me back… I want to do it all over again! I loved creating this ceremony so much too ❤️
