A big thank you to Bridge Coffee Roasters for today's fantastic training session and tour of there roasting facility.

Our team had the opportunity to visit the Welsh roasting facility in Ystrad Mynach, where we enjoyed an insightful tour of the roastery and learned more about the journey of the coffee bean from being roasted and where the coffee is sourced from.

It was great to see first-hand the passion, expertise, and care that goes into producing high-quality Welsh-roasted coffee.

We are excited to be launching this Welsh-roasted, Triple Certified coffee in both The Bench and The Hub Cafés at Cardiff Metropolitan University in early September, and we can't wait for our customers to experience it.

Thank you again to the Bridge Coffee team for an informative and enjoyable day. We look forward to working together and sharing this excellent coffee with our customers very soon!

☀️ Important Catering Service Update – Red Heat Warning Thursday & Friday ☀️

Due to the Red Heat Warning in place in the next few days we will be operating a limited service across all catering venues at Cardiff Met. This is to help protect the wellbeing of our customers and the catering team.

📍 Venue Opening Hours:
❌ The Hub – Closed tomorrow due to the CABE Conference normal service will resume on Thursday
☕ The Bench Café – Open 7.30am until 11:00am
🚴 Track – Open 11am - 6.000pm
🥗 The Atrium – Open 8:00am – 3pm
🍽️ K1 Restaurant – Open 8:00am – 2.30pm

Please plan your visit accordingly and remember to stay hydrated during the hot weather.
