We are pleased to announce the final (and largest!) layout to be added to the line up of this year's Cardiff Model Railway Show.
Aberdeen Kirkhill is an epic layout set in a snowy landscape in Aberdeen during the late 1980s.

The setup day is complete and the main hall is all ready for this weekend's Cardiff Model Railway Exhibition.
Saturday 10-5, Sunday 10-4.

The Cardiff Model Railway Exhibition will be held at Sophia Gardens Cricket Ground, Cardiff, CF11 9XR on the 19th and 20th October.
This year's show features a new and varied selection of layouts both large and small catering for both enthusiasts and families.
There will also be lots of trade stands, railway societies, military models & modelling demonstrations that combine to make the largest model railway show in the area.
This year's show features a display of larger scale models courtesy of the Cardiff Model Engineering Society (aka the Heath Park Miniature Railway).

Ticket price on the door will be £10 for adults. Children under 15 are free (when accompanied by an adult).
Discounted advance tickets can be purchased through our website saving 10% off the full price. Each adult ticket purchased includes 1 free raffle ticket.

Discount Advance tickets can also be purchased from open days at the Heath Park Model Railway and from Lendons Model Shop in Llanishen.

The varied list of traders will include Squires Tools and as well as many new and 2nd-hand railway model and spares shops.
Expect nearly 50 stands in total.

This year's show will features layouts of all sizes and scales, lots of trade stands selling old and new railway items, local societies and demonstrations.
We will have a special section in Hall 2 dedicated to military model displays.
The stage area in Hall 1 will host larger scale model engineering models display courtesy of the Cardiff Model Engineering Society
