Thereā€™s nothing quite like the start of the Cardiff Half Marathon! šŸƒā€ā™‚ļøšŸƒā€ā™€ļø

What a weekend for Cardiffā€¦

* šŸƒ 29,000+ runners
* šŸ‡¬šŸ‡§ UKā€™s second-largest half marathon
* šŸŒ 5,700+ international participants from 99 countries
* šŸ… Part of the SuperHalfs series ā€” and the UKā€™s only SuperHalf
* šŸ’· Over Ā£4 million raised for charity each year

An incredible atmosphere as thousands of runners took to the streets of Cardiff yesterday.

Proud to have once again delivered the site and production management for another fantastic Cardiff Half Marathon ā€” a huge amount of planning and work goes on behind the scenes to get everything ready for moments like this.

A brilliant event, a brilliant city and an amazing team effort. šŸ‘

We are thrilled to have been listed as one of The Times' Top Light Trails in the UK for a third year in a row āœØ

The team work so hard, year round, to create a magical, memorable experience for all who visit, and so it is such an honour that this hard work has been recognised šŸ’•

We have been planning our brand new theme since the early spring, and we are creeping closer to unveiling 'The Christmas Time Machine' in just 6 weeks time šŸ„³šŸ¤–

P.S. we might have a cheeky announcement on Sunday - so keep your eyes peeled šŸ‘€

And thatā€™s a wrap on summer 2026! ā˜€ļø

Itā€™s been another incredibly busy summer for the 2Can team, working across Wales and further afield delivering everything from major music shows and festivals to mass participation events, cultural events and sporting fixtures.

Weā€™ve spent the summer building sites, managing venues, solving problems, working with some brilliant clients and suppliers, and doing what we do best ā€” making events happen.

From Blackweir and Tafwyl at Cardiff Castle, through to the Eisteddfod, Maes B, Supertri Blenheim Palace, Gwyl Fach y Fro, and Dragon's Back RaceĀ®, alongside plenty more in between, itā€™s been quite a season.

A massive thank you to our team, freelancers and site crews, and to all of the clients, suppliers and partners who continue to put their trust in 2Can. We couldnā€™t do what we do without you.

Thereā€™s never much time to stand still in events thoughā€¦ winter season, here we come. šŸ‘€

šŸ The finish line of the legendary Dragon's Back RaceĀ® šŸ“󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳ó æ

Weā€™ve been proud to support the Dragonā€™s Back Race since 2021, working behind the scenes to help deliver one of the toughest and most iconic mountain races in the world.

For this yearā€™s event, the 2Can team provided site management, site crew, venue liaison and event infrastructure, helping get the finish site built, operational and ready to welcome the runners home after an epic journey across Wales.

Always a brilliant event to be part of ā€” and great to continue a relationship thatā€™s now been running for five years. šŸ‰ā›°ļø
