Try Quizzy Bee's Can you solve this?
There are six dice laid out on a table. Each die shows a different number. You are blindfolded and the dice are shuffled around but still showing six different numbers. You can’t feel the pips on the dice so you cannot tell which die shows each number. How can you sort the dice into two groups and guarantee that the sum of the dice in each group is exactly the same? Or put another way, how can you lay the dice out so that there are the same number of pips facing up in both groups?

Here's a new Monday night puzzle for you and of course it's the first one in October so it follows our first of the month format. All the answers to the clues feature the consecutive letters OCT in the spaces shown. Just a few months left of 2026 now. It's a cliche but the years really do get faster and faster.
