Just a reminder that the Crazy Chemistry workshops will take place in the castle at Margam Park at 10am and 12pm today.

There is an uphill walk from the car park to the castle taking at least 10 minutes, please give yourself plenty of time. Aim to arrive at the castle 5 mins before your session to sign in.

There is not much shelter at Margam Park so please dress appropriately for the expected rain today.

Free parking is available for children booked onto the workshop and their guardians. Please show your booking confirmation at the gate house. If additional people wish to visit Margam, you will need to purchase a parking ticket, the gate house can instruct you on this.

Thanks to everyone who came to our ExperiMENTAL Potions workshops at Margam Park yesterday. 🧪 We had two completely sold out sessions where we were making wands, balancing birds, colour changing potions, bubbling potions and fizzy potions 🫧🧑‍🔬 It was great to see all budding scientists making predictions and experimenting!

🤫 I've been keeping a little secret...

For the last few months, alongside running ExperiMENTAL Science, I've been working behind the scenes helping to create this year's Summer of Discovery at Rhondda Heritage Park—and I can't wait for families to experience it!

We've put together 6 weeks of themed adventures, with trails, crafts, interactive activities and live shows, giving families a new reason to visit throughout the summer holidays. The programme includes:
