Great turnout tonight ....... 30+ here for our 'Pitch Up & Play Friday Night Bingo' at Carbrooke Village Hall 2026

Thank you to everyone who has come along to play tonight and for helping to raise funds for the Village Hall.

😎 Due to high temperatures, our bin crews will be collecting from 6:00am (instead of 6:30am) from 27 July up to and including 31 July to enable them to work in cooler temperatures.
⏰ Please ensure your green, black and brown bins are out ready for this earlier collection time.
👏 Thank you for your understanding and patience with this change, which will enable us to keep our crews safe and your service running smoothly.

🚮 Breckland's New Food Waste Collection Service is Coming Soon!

🏘️ From 3 August to 7 September 2026, new food waste containers will be delivered to households across the Breckland district.

♻️ This new service will make it easy to separate your food waste from your general waste. Instead of putting items such as fruit and vegetable peelings, tea bags, bones, leftovers, and out-of-date food into your general waste bin, you'll be able to recycle them using your new food waste containers.

👀 Keep an eye out for your containers and further information explaining how to use the new service and when collections will begin.
