The beautiful lighting adds a distinctive feature of glamour.

The space in a Sailcloth Tent is vast, the poles are an amazing 6.5 metres high, allowing the possibility for of aerial displays should you want them. The inside layout can be completely bespoke to your needs.

No one tells you that running a marquee-hire company is 24/7.

It’s the 5am wake ups for the build teams, the long drives to clients’ set ups, recalculating everything when there’s an accident on the motorway, the complex spaces where we need to make our marquees fit.

It’s when we weren’t informed about underground pipes just before we hammer in the stakes that hold the marquee down. It’s the last minute changes and requests, or the storm that wasn’t expected and means we have to change the configuration of the marquee.

It’s the vehicles breaking down, a nervous client, the price of fuel, the constant quality checking and the logistics behind doing 20 events a week in our busiest patch.

BUT WE LOVE IT.

It’s true only fun couples have Tipi weddings.

They also have the coolest most, glamorous friends, the best speeches and the craziest parties.

And we should know. We started our company 12 years ago with one Tipi and it took off from there. Now we hire out giant Tipi’s, Sailcloth Tents and Stretch Tents right across the East of England where we’re based, and the South East of England.

Our general manager Kem has a very broad remit. Appearing on social media wasn’t one of the tasks he realised he’d have to do.

Whilst Jenna our MD is well-versed in all things performance related Kem was a bit more reluctant to be in front of the camera. But we think he’s a natural.
