Tired of the same old runs? Fancy something a little more… sandy? A little more bonkers?

The Harbour Wallbanger Run, the coastal challenge where you charge along the beach, battle the sand, soak up the sea views, and complete the all-important mission…

That’s right. The wall is waiting. Your trainers are waiting. Your friends are waiting.
It’s not your average run. It’s a seaside adventure and a whole lot of fun.

So grab your mates, drag them off the sofa, and come earn your Wallbanger bragging rights.

*We have been contacted by Thanet District Council this week about the date of the event. Due to an adminstrative error on their part we are unable to hold the event on the 5th September. We had booked this date with them back in December 2025.

**HOWEVER**, we have worked quickly with the Council over the last 24 hours to secure another date near to the orginal date and the event will now be on Sunday 20th September at 12:45pm. We are very restricted by the tides as the event has to take place at low tide.*

🚨 VOLUNTEERS WANTED! 🚨

Our amazing Saxon Shore Whitstable 10K & Half Marathon is just around the corner on Sunday 16th August, and we need some extra superstars to help make race day happen! 🌟

No experience? No problem! All you need is a smile, a bit of enthusiasm, and a willingness to cheer on some incredible runners.

Whether you're handing out medals, marshalling the course, or keeping runners heading in the right direction, you'll be a huge part of making the day a success.

💙 We genuinely couldn't do this without our volunteers, and we're so grateful for every single person who gives up a few hours to help. You'll earn our eternal gratitude, plenty of smiles, and the warm fuzzy feeling that comes from being part of an amazing community event.

Thank you to our incredible volunteers! 💙🏃

On Tuesday 4th August we will be celebrating the amazing people who make our events possible. From registration and marshalling to water stations, finish lines, and everything in between, your time, enthusiasm, and dedication help create unforgettable experiences for thousands of runners.

Quite simply, we couldn't do it without you.

This little beauty is waiting for you at the finish line of this year's Saxon Shore Half Marathon & 10K!!

With a mostly flat route (yes, we said mostly!) it hugs the beautiful Kent seafront, and welcomes around 600 brilliant runners every year. It's ideal for chasing a PB, enjoying the views, or simply earning the right to tell everyone, "It wasn't the distance... it was the wind!" 🌬️😂

Because let's be honest... if you've ever run on the Kent coast, you already know the breeze likes to join in. If you're lucky, it'll even push you home. If you're not... character building! 💨

🌿 Throwback to an unforgettable day at the Macknade Half Marathon & 10K! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

What a fantastic day we had at the end of May! From the moment the event started, you, our sporting buddies, were treated to everything that makes the Kent countryside so special.

🌳 Peaceful country lanes
🌲 Beautiful wooded trails
🌄 Stunning panoramic views
🍎 Tree-lined routes and picturesque orchards

Whether you were chasing a PB or simply soaking up the scenery, the course delivered an incredible running experience from start to finish.

And then came the after-party! 🎉 Back at Macknade Fine Foods, the celebrations continued with live music, amazing food and drink, shopping and plenty of other activities to keep the whole family entertained. It was the perfect way to celebrate your achievement with friends, family, and fellow runners.

A huge thank you to everyone who took part, volunteered, cheered from the sidelines, and helped make the day so special. We can't wait to do it all again next year!
