Our Team

Anna grew up at Preston Court and spent her childhood running around her parents 600 acre farm in the peaceful Kent countryside, dreaming of hosting parties by the lake in the idyllic surroundings. In 2008 she began hosting weddings at Preston Court, when we organised a wedding for our friends with the first ceremony taking place in the magical St Mildred’s Church which sits within the grounds. From that fantastic explosion of love, laughter and dancing, the wedding venue you see today was born.

The team has grown over the past ten years to a family of five full time staff and in season about thirty event staff, including our carousel ‘Ride Master,’ Damien, pictured above. We love what we do and thrive off the energy our couples and their families radiate.

Each and every wedding we host is different and we actively encourage this - we try to be as flexible as possible with regards to timings and what is humanly possible, to help ensure we nurture ideas and continually evolve our offering.

We are a RARE family-owned and run wedding venue, where the Georgian house sits as the backdrop to the focal point of Juliana’s island, which is totally dreamy for wedding ceremonies and is surrounded by water with lily pads, manicured lawns and extensive exotic gardens. In the barnyard there are twinkling fairy lights, olive and topiary trees and seating to provide the perfect sociable, sunny courtyard to enjoy the vintage carousel, fairground games, music, magnificent barns, quirky pop up cocktail bar, and for 2020 our very own new ‘Pizza Pony’ Street food wagon.
