Fruitworks is a coworking space 30 seconds from Canterbury City Centre and is the only space of its kind in the city. Check out our space, we know you'll love it! We have over 80 desks available on a residential and Hot Desking basis in two beautiful open plan rooms. Our chill-out areas come with a pool & ping-pong table as well as a variety of books if you fancy learning something new, plus you get unlimited free tea & coffee!

With great sadness, we announce that after many wonderful years, Fruitworks has now closed its doors for the final time.

To everyone who worked, met, created, and connected with us here in Canterbury - thank you. You made Fruitworks so much more than a coworking space. You made it a community, and that's something we're incredibly proud to have been a part of.

We are honoured to have helped over 500 different SMEs over the last 16 years here in Canterbury, as well as hosting countless events and meetings in our rooms, and of course meet ups in our coffee shop.

To every member, every event host, every regular who came in for a coffee and a catch up - thank you for your support over the years. It meant more than you know.

A note from us.

After so many wonderful years, we’ve made the difficult decision to close the Fruitworks Coffee Shop. Our last day of pouring truly amazing coffee will be the 8th July 2026.

It’s not a decision we’ve taken lightly, and it’s one that comes with a huge amount of gratitude for every customer who made it through our doors, and most of all for the team who made this place what it was.

To Elyse, Katie, Ben, Chloe and Shannon - our amazing team over the last 3 years - you have moulded Fruitworks Coffee Shop into something we are incredibly proud of. A simple thank you will never quite feel like enough and we know you will all go on to do amazing things with the passion and drive you have all shown.

To everyone who popped in for a coffee, held a meeting here, or just needed somewhere to sit and breathe for a while we want to thank you for your support. You were the heart of this place.

A quick note: this closure is for the coffee shop only. Our event space and meeting rooms are still available to hire and all bookings already made will still be going ahead - so if you’re looking for a great space to host, gather, or connect, we’re still here for that – but you may need to bring your own coffee.
