🎉 THE WAIT IS OVER - THE NEW ST MATTHEWS IS HERE! 🎉

After months of planning, renovation and a complete transformation of the building, we’re delighted to announce the:

OFFICIAL GRAND OPENING OF THE NEW ST MATTHEWS SPORTS & SOCIAL CLUB

📅 Friday 9 October
🕒 Open from 3pm
🎸 The Brightsides performing live in the main hall later in the evening and taking us through until late

We’ll be open from 3pm, giving you plenty of time to explore the transformed venue, enjoy some food, grab a drink and settle in before the live music begins.

The new St Matthews will offer:

🍺 A completely transformed bar and fantastic drinks selection
⚽ A dedicated Sports Bar showing live Sky Sports and TNT Sports
🍕 Great Sports Bar food and takeaway menu
🎱 Pool, darts and two full-size snooker tables
🎉 Large and small renovated function rooms available to hire
🍽️ Sunday lunch every week, beginning Sunday 11 October
💚 A friendly and welcoming social space for the whole community

Our ambition is to make St Matthews Burntwood’s community hub - somewhere to meet friends, enjoy great food and drinks, watch live sport, celebrate special occasions and feel completely at home.

Most importantly, you do not need to be a member to visit St Matthews. Everyone is welcome.

We’ve put everything into creating a venue that Burntwood can enjoy and be proud of - and we genuinely cannot wait to welcome you through the doors.

Congratulations to Rich on his 1st wedding anniversary today! He is off with Sherrie enjoying a delayed honeymoon.

Meanwhile Lee is touring Europe with his new wife Lana.

Don’t worry we will all be back in time for Saturday night at The Goats Head in Abbots Bromley…
