💜 Every little helps 💜

On September the 14th beautiful Lewis should be celebrating his 18th Birthday.

Sadly Lewis passed away just shy of his third birthday after losing his brave battle with an aggressive childhood cancer in 2010. Lewis took everything in his stride and he was cheeky with it too. He would always make the nurses laugh and smile with his infectious grin and laughter. He was a happy little boy who touched the hearts of anyone that was fortunate enough to have met him.

Lewis is the reason and the inspiration behind A Child of Mine. His family's grief exposed the gaps that existed in bereavement care and his 'Mummy' became passionate about ensuring bereaved parents and their families have access to emotional support and practical guidance after the heartbreaking death of a child, because no bereaved parent should go through this alone.

His 'Mummy' is of course our incredible founder and CEO Gayle Routledge. With the support of her family and friends she registered A Child of Mine as a charity in 2013 and has continued to support hundreds of people every year after the most devastating of losses. Gayle is the comforting voice and listening ear at the end of every phone call. Her compassionate and friendly face is the one that welcomes every bereaved family to our family support room. She has touched the heart of many and she carries Lewis's love with her every step of the way.

On the 21st September 2025 Gayle and a team of supporters are taking part in the Stafford 10k to celebrate Lewis' 18th Birthday. So far Team Lewis has 15 members. Clare DIY'd her own Centrepieces and Table Plan which I think were so cute 🥰

They chose white covers and a Blush Pink sash from myself and then after a last minute phonecall from Trevor, they also had my floral arch and some white lanterns with floral vases for something a little extra for the ceremony room 🌹

Clare didn't have a clue it was a lovely surprise for her from Trevor!

🌺 Good Morning 🌺

I thought I'd write a little post as I have been absent from social media for a short time as life has been very testing recently! 😩

💜 My husband has been quite poorly resulting in a hospital stay & surgery so this has been quite tricky whilst trying to hold down 2 jobs and be there for my little kiddies 💜

But he's getting all better now so I am back on full throttle!!

Needless to say I am still beavering away behind the scenes getting ready for some of my upcoming brides & grooms 👰🤵

Iv never pressed so many sashes in one go!! 😂

🎈 I have also had Prom Season (I will upload photos soon!) and I also did a set up for a very special charity ✨

I was at Coton House Farm Wedding Venue for the most elegant and classy set up ...

I was styling for Sophie & Ben as they had provided all the decor, garden games, stationary etc themselves and my god it was just perfect!
