We're back on Monday
(And Wednesday, Thursday and Friday).

Join us for semi-uninterrupted chat; watching your little ones gain confidence and bust out the cutest moves, all in a laid-back atmosphere that promotes social engagement and a play-based childhood.

The hot drinks, home-made traybakes and children's snacks are a bonus. Not the main event.

Escape that Monday feeling: With Us!
If you're looking for some adult connection and some fun for the children, look no further!

Whilst we're entertaining the little ones, we're also keeping it real about how it is to parent/ grandparent or care for children in the 21st century.

Adults are losing their village, and children are losing their navigation of exploring and finding their own way without their immediate caregivers.

Our aim is to provide the opportunity to have fun; be social, and build trust in friendships - something that is a foundation of mental health in later years.

We are more than just another children's 'class'. We are bringing back the simplicity and the importance of being a village.

Just a little reminder that we are closed bank holidays due to Mill Road Community Centre not being open.
We ARE running for the rest of the half term, though, at our other venues.

It's official - according to Oxford University:

"We’ve just published some research that reveals that group singing not only helps forge social bonds, it also does so particularly quickly, acting as an excellent icebreaker. We’ve also shown that community singing is effective for bonding large groups, making it an ideal behaviour to improve our broader social networks. This is particularly valuable in today’s often alienating world, where many of our social interactions are conducted remotely via Facebook and Twitter."

Adults- you don't have to join in the singing (although who doesn't love "Shake Your Sillies Out"?), but the props and the singing in the beginning really are an ice breaker for when the music, games and refreshments come out.
