Two weeks ago, the curtain went up on a truly unforgettable evening. ✨

The Saturday Night Showcase brought together choirs from across the country, each taking to the stage to share their sound, their stories and the joy of singing.

From breathtaking harmonies to uplifting performances and moments of pure celebration, the Cambridge Corn Exchange came alive with music from beginning to end. Every choir brought something unique, but together they created an evening that perfectly captured what the Cambridge Contemporary Choir Festival is all about. Community.

A huge thank you to David and Carrie Grant for hosting the evening with such warmth, generosity and infectious enthusiasm. Your passion for bringing people together through music set the tone for a truly special night, and we're so grateful you were part of this year's festival.

To every choir, every audience member, every workshop leader, volunteer and supporter—thank you for helping us create something so memorable.

This year at the Cambridge Contemporary Choir Festival the music didn't stop at the Corn Exchange... it spilled out into the streets of Cambridge. 🎶

Throughout the weekend, choirs popped up across the city, filling the city with harmonies that stopped shoppers in their tracks, and drew crowds together spontaneously.
Some people came looking for the performances. Others simply stumbled across them while exploring the city. But for a few magical moments, strangers became audiences, passers-by became participants, and Cambridge became one big stage.

Those pop-up performances have become such a unique part of the Cambridge Contemporary Choir Festival celebrating not only the incredible choirs taking part, but the city itself and the people who make it so vibrant.

A huge thank you to every choir who performed, every person who stopped to listen, clapped along or joined in, and everyone who helped create such an unforgettable atmosphere in the heart of Cambridge.

We'll be smiling about these moments for a long time. 💛

Last weekend every corner of the Cambridge Corn Exchange was filled with music. 💛

Throughout Saturday, singers of all ages came together to explore new styles, build confidence and experience the joy of singing alongside some incredible workshop leaders.

From energetic Family Pop, to uplifting Gospel, the magic of Musical Theatre, and the artistry of A Ca****la, each session brought something completely different. New friendships were formed, harmonies were discovered, and voices that had never sung together before became choirs by the end of the day.

That has always been the heart of the Cambridge Contemporary Choir Festival.

A huge thank you to our fantastic workshop leaders for sharing your passion, knowledge and encouragement so generously, and to every single person who stepped through the door ready to try something new. Whether you've been singing for years or joined your very first workshop, you helped create something truly special.

These photos are just a snapshot of a day filled with laughter, learning and plenty of goosebump moments.

One week ago, we kicked off the Cambridge Contemporary Choir Festival in the best way possible… 💛

A room full of people who'd never sung together before learned a beautiful arrangement of Eternal Flame, before throwing themselves into an evening of live music, dancing and some of the biggest floor fillers around.

There were familiar faces, first-time singers, friends, families and plenty of people who simply came along for a great night out. By the end of the evening, everyone was singing as one.

The BIG BIG Collab was everything we'd hoped it would be and these photos capture just a few of those moments, but they'll stay with us for a long time.

To everyone who joined us, sang with us and made our very first BIG BIG Collab such a special night… thank you. Here's to making even more memories next time. 🎤✨
