Introducing my new kids pamper party experience 🩷

You may have seen my mini spa trays as an extra finishing touch to my sleepover packages… Well, here’s the mini spa’s big sister!

With welcome drinks, satin robes, foot spa, personalised makeup pouches and plenty of goodies to keep: facial products, lip gloss, nail polish, face gems, all carefully selected with sensitive tween skin in mind.

This theme hadn’t come out to play for a couple of years so I was super excited when this Jungle sleepover booking landed in my inbox. 😊

I made the animal print bed runners ten years ago as table runners for my son’s 4th birthday party.

(I knew I’d kept them for a reason! This was finally their moment to shine again and I think they nailed it. 🐆)

The animal print leis on the trays were the finishing touch alongside the giant tiger and 4ft giraffe.

I may have been just as excited about this setup as Colin the dog (did you spot him?)

**NEW THEME**

Paris Nights has been in the pipeline for over a year (yes, the procrastination over here is real 😉)

So I’m excited to finally launch this into your hands.

Francesca adored her sleepover, switching to this Paris fashion-inspired theme from her default choice of Rose Gold. And I’m so glad she did.

Things I wish I’d known before my very first sleepover party setup. 👇

Lesson one: always tuck the pillows under the duvets.

It never occurred to me that the kids might not know the duvet was there if the pillow was on top!

One group of girls slept on top of their duvets all night with just a blanket. Nobody said a word until morning, just lay there shivering all night 😔 A year later and I still think about it.

Lesson two: before I leave, I always tell the birthday child (and mum) exactly what’s theirs to take home.

Anything personalised with their name goes with them — the cup, the sign, and any other personalised extras the family chose to book.

Means no guessing, no awkward moments for mum, and the kids have a memento to keep from the night.

This was Claudia’s 10th birthday. She had the whole gang round. Not a single one of them slept before midnight, I’d bet my van on it. 🎉

This new theme came straight from recent feedback forms, so you can be sure it’s going to be popular 🙌🏼

The girls asked for Preppy: something cool, on-trend and joyful.

Challenge accepted 😊

When I design a new theme, I always start by playing with colour palettes, then move on to patterns and imagery, and finally source the products that bring the whole look together.

The creative design process (and the shopping 🤫) is one of the best parts of the job. And I hope my joy and passion shines through to the end result.

Modern Preppy means smiley faces, lightning bolts and cherries for a graphic, confident look. Pink and yellow because it feels upbeat and bold. And the cowboy hats and disco cherries add a bit of cheeky irony, a polished mix of kitsch and Americana.

Modern Preppy is going to be a winner with the pre-teen girls.
