Free Horse Racing Tips

Well I don't think Rossallion is going to win a Group 1 this season, unless he pulls a supplemented entry out of the bag in the few big races left on the card.

We have a Horse Racing strike coming soon over our broke Government's plans to raise taxes on betting.

I remember the days before the Internet in shops, where you had to decide before a bet, whether to pay your tax from the stake or your potential winnings.

Not a difficult decision when you're down to your last quid on a bad day.

I think online betting is probably the UK's only growth industry, a new site seems to come out every week.

Shame for the HMRC that all their HQ are in Gibraltar. 38 so far Google says, I wonder why, John Gosden ranted about them the other week when asked 🙄👀.

And people wonder why people bet on their phones rather than running down the High St, to sit in an empty shop filled by people entranced by the high payout slot machines.

Anyway this is why we always enter the free competitions available on all the online sites.

York EBOR Day 4

This Saturday in York, like many festivals now, is a day where previous runners in the week get a chance to race again, plus some top racing.

The main race is at 3pm, and will be a chance for Rosallion to hopefully bag that group 1 event he has been banging on the door so closely this year.

That is if, Field of Golda pacemaker, Qirat who races at a much shorter price, doesn't go off from the pack early and win from the front again.

If he does do a runner, I just hope the pack wont let him get an 18 length lead like last time, and they follow him sooner.

Anyway, Rosallion was the only horse last time out to actually nearly catch him, and his final sectionals were very fast times. I hope he can use that same speed to win today.

So he is the big wager of the day @ 6/4 and we will have to see what the market shows us about the other runners before making a betting decision.

YORK EBOR DAY 2

Well the first day of York's EBOR festival, was full of upsets and surprises.

The biggest I think for everyone was the Derby and Irish Derby winner, Lambourn, getting turned over by a horse many had thought had lost his way after a shock Dante win, Pride of Arras.

He had been gelded and I remember putting a bet on @ 10/1, when I heard the news as apart from Wind Operations, that kind of surgery can totally transform a horses attitude and yesterday it worked.

Ombudsman won, which was a partial shock after his pacemaker seemed to go off and try to win the race for himself.

He was 18 lengths clear of the pack and they were lucky he tired or the distance was too much as they only caught up with him in the final furlong.

I don't really see the point of having a pacemaker if he's not going to stay with his stablemate to keep an even pace for him to follow.

Today's races don't really excite me very much apart from the small field Yorkshire Oaks where we see Oaks winner Minnie Hauk in action.

However at such a short price 1/3 there really is no betting opportunity unless you want to try for a forecast to get the odds up.

Hope she is still stable jockey for Archie after Trueshans sad passing.

Google only gave me 2024 results saying she was. But she has other trainers who will book her.

She's a good jockey and trainers will always want to have the champion jockey on retainer.

Hollie Doyle's position with Imad Alsagar has come to an end.

Oisin Murphy has been confirmed as the new retained rider for Alsagar as part of a "change of strategy".

Doyle was in the saddle each time Alsagar’s star mare Nashwa took to the track, guiding her to three Group One victories at the peak of her career.

Free Horse Racing Tips

It's the York EBOR meeting next week and hopefully some top races.

However, before that we have racing at Newbury and Newmarket over the weekend.

Make sure to enter the free competitions on ITV7, and Corals Super Seven Series Racing competition.

Also, there are other free competitions to enter. I won a £100 the other day on Coral for predicting Crystal Palace would Draw with Liverpool in the Charity Shield, and got the cards, corners, and time of the 1st goal right as well.

So a nice surprise, and it's well worth doing all the free competitions available on the online betting sites.

Glorious Goodwood Day 5 - Free Tips

Sorry about yesterday! I was up all night and didn't get to bed til 8am, and only woke up just before the main race at 3pm.

Anyway, this is the last day of the festival, and the next big one is the Ebor at York later this month, with what promises to be a top Juddmonte event.

That is according to the TV presenters, who didn't mention the potential runners. So I hope it is.

Anyway, we see some runners today who have already run this week, such as Dutch Decoy, who only run yesterday, but had a terrible race coming nowhere. Maybe he will redeem himself today.

Make sure to do your ITV7, I already have, just to ensure I don't miss out again.

Also, make sure to do the Coral Super Seven Series Racing competition, as it's your last chance to pick the whole card, just to place, and win a share of £25k.

Field of Gold found to be lame....

This is at least a better excuse than any I could have thought of, to why Field of Gold "Just didn't fire today", as John Gosden said after his defeat on Wednesday, in the Qatar Sussex Stakes.

Hopefully he gets better soon and we can get a rematch between Rossallion and Field of Gold, run at a true pace, on good going, where the pacemakers dont run off trying to win it for themselves instead of helping their main horse run a true pace.

Let's see what shockers we have tomorrow as if the ground is still heavy after todays downpour, then that will affect calculations massively.
