Two Sundays ago, a crowd of friends joined us in the orchard to help bring the apples in, with the promise of an al fresco lunch as payment. Some of us went to great lengths to reach the best ones (swipe for proof), and now we’re getting ready to press.

Fran found the biggest one of the lot, and we’d love your guesses: how much do you think it weighs? Drop your best guess in the comments and we’ll reveal the answer soon.

A huge thank you to everyone who came and helped, to Tic Tac Tabletop, and especially to Happy Belly Bakery for the lovely lunch treats. Eating outside in the last of the summer sun in great company was a very good way to spend a Sunday.

🎃 ONE WEEK TO GO

Next Saturday, 24 October, is our Halloween Special and the final screening of our first season: What We Do In The Shadows, in the barn.

Fancy dress is very welcome if you fancy it, as spooky or as understated as you like.

🎃 HALLOWEEN SPECIAL - OUR SEASON FINALE

Our last screening of the year is here: What We Do In The Shadows, Saturday 24 October, in the barn.

It's the perfect way to close out our first season - dark, funny, and a little bit different, just like the rest of this year's programme. Fancy dress is very welcome if you fancy it - go as spooky or as understated as you like.

Thank you to everyone who's come through the gates for Hot Fuzz. Small crowd, big laughs - exactly the kind of evening we love hosting.

Special mention to Hazel, our resident cat, who's been turning up to every event this season to say hello to guests. She clearly thinks she's on door duty.
