After a wonderful 7 years of adventures together I have made the incredibly difficult decision to sell my beloved ice cream van. Family commitments and my other year round business expanding means there simply isn’t enough of me to dedicate the time I would like to my ever increasing ice cream bookings - I was inundated with so many enquiries this year that I couldn’t take on, and she has far more potential to be constantly booked up all spring/summer long (and even throughout the winter if the new owner chooses to go down the route of offering hot drinks and warm dessert options to accompany and complement the ice cream!)
We’ve had an absolute blast meeting a huge array of wonderful people and making fantastic memories along the way, and I look forward to seeing her continue to make lots of people happy in the future.
The ice cream van is perfect to work at a wide range of both private and public events, on on site at a regular pitch. It is a hard scoop van with a large 6 lid holdover freezer that freezes down fantastically every time. You plug the freezer in to charge, which once at temperature will last the day, so there is no need to run the engine or be plugged in while pitched up, giving you far more freedom as to where you can park up. There is the potential to add a soft serve machine if desired, though I have never had the call to do so, as the Brookes Wye Valley Dairy scooped ice creams and sorbets I have always offered have been very popular and very much enjoyed by all.
The sale of the van also includes a large selection of my props and decor, so will be ready to set up and impress your clients should you wish to keep the style and colour scheme she is currently sporting. I will be retaining the business name and logo as my own, so you will just need to replace the vinyl logo stickers with your own branding and she will be all set to go!
I am also happy to give you some tips and advice regarding running a mobile ice cream business and vintage vehicle from what I have discovered along the way, should you wish me to.
