The largest Banyan tree in the word at Lahaina on the island Maui, has been badly damaged by the wild fires which has devastated this most beautiful of Hawaiian Island; 55 people as well as wild life decimation is the consequence of this catastrophe!
We had a wonderful holiday in Kauai, Maui and big Island (Hawaii).

A delightful wedding at Henson Castle yesterday between Megan Lewis and Kristian Noyes.
It was great to see the turnout of Welsh-guardsmen from their base at Windsor so immaculately turned out.
I was requested to give the Loyal toast in Welsh; not exactly common protocol, but was proud to oblige.

The fantastic ‘Peter Cottontail’ Easter Bunny (“Peter - Cwningen y Pasc”) will be attending Easter Breakfasts at the Fisherman’s Rest in Bedwas, Caerphilly from Wed 13 to Easter Sunday. Booking essential as availability is limited.
The kids / grandkids will go bananas (sorry ‘carrots’) at the opportunity to meet ‘Peter’. Bendigedig 🥕

I am extremely sorry but Peter Cottontail will not be at this event which has been cancelled (myxomatosis)?!

Happy Christmas to all the people of the world!
Old Santa is truly pooped today!
Amongst the thousands a of children I’ve seen over the last month, I’d like to tell you about Kate, a delightful nine year old who came to see me; she was enchanting.
I asked if she’d like to go to one of my ‘Elf Schools’ as she was a truly wonderful person!
She was delighted with this proposition!
As she left she asked in a loud voice ‘Santa, have you got a willy’?
Her dear Mum by now a bright beetroot colour said, ‘Excuse my daughter. She is autistic and sometimes comes out with some outrageous things!’
I said, ‘Kate is sheer delight, and that I had answered quietly in her ear ‘yes he has, a little one.’
Children are our future, they must be nurtured and loved, they are Custodians of our future! 💕
