For the first time in 20 Market Mayhem events, we have experienced serious crowd trouble.

Due to the severity of the injuries sustained by members of our staff and innocent spectators, we have handed over all available CCTV footage, along with the names, contact details and gym affiliations of those believed to be involved, to the local police.

We will not tolerate violence towards our staff, officials or members of the public. We will fully support the authorities in their investigation and any action they choose to take.

Market Mayhem has built its reputation on providing a safe, professional and family-friendly environment for competitors and spectators alike. We remain committed to ensuring that standard is upheld at every event.

Thank you to everyone who assisted during the incident and to the vast majority of fighters, coaches and supporters who conducted themselves with professionalism and respect.
