It might be snowy today but we are planning ahead for our first talk of the year (many more in the pipeline).

The social circles of victorian buxton and it's influence on the development of the town.

If you would like a talk on a wide range of topics from medieval all the way through to the Cold War both local interest and national let us know. We will be announcing dates of our walking tours very soon too.

Always lovely to find images like this one of the Palace Hotel, Buxton complete with it's original entrance and access (now blocked up near the dome entrance).

This is a fantastic building from the 1860s period of Buxton when tourism came to it's prime for the town.

We are looking forward to bring involved with a number of events covering this period around the Buxton area including the Buxton Belle Époque Ball in July.
