Come and join us for the third annual Bury St Edmund’s Seed Swap event! Happening today at the centre on St John’s street. Come and swap your seeds or donate 50p! We have such a selection for you this year! All money raised will go to Bury Water Meadow Group

The Bury St Edmunds Seed Swap Event will be held at The Centre, on St John's Street (Next to St John's Church).

Saturday 21nd February 2025
11:30AM until 3:30PM
This event is open to the general public and is FREE to attend.

You can swap shop bought or home picked vegetable seeds, flower seeds, gardening magazines, books or potted house plants. If you have no seeds to swap, we are asking for a small donation of 50p an item. All donations collected will go to charity.

🌱THAT'S A WRAP🌱

We would like to say a massive THANK YOU to everyone who helped spread the word and came to support this years Bury St Edmunds Seed Swap. For a second year in a row we had an amazing turn out with people queuing to enter the venue. Because of everyone involved and all of your generous donations, we have raised £332.64 for Suffolk Wildlife Trust.

This event could not have gone ahead without joint efforts from Chris Wiley from Bury in Bloom, Chantal from Grow My Wellbeing, Amy from Amy's allotment adventure & Fred From Fothergills UK. We had the most generous seed donations from Fred to help kickstart this years event and fill all of our seed baskets (and some!). We also received support for a second year in a row from Bury St Edmunds Town Council to fund the equipment needed to help us bring this fantastic event to the community.

For your surplus seedings you can Join Bury In Bloom for their brand new Plant Swap at the Quaker meeting house on St John's Street on Saturday 19th April, 11:30 - 15:30. Where all money raised will go towards Bury In Bloom.
