A B O U T . U S 🌲

In a past lifetime, Royle Forest was a poultry and dairy farm, home to over 200 acres of grazing pastures. Thirty years ago, we decided to give our 5th-generation family farm back to nature, planting young woodland and allowing the land to breathe and rewild at its own pace. Over time, the forest has begun to thrive, and the farm has gently evolved with it.

Today, the farm has diversified into weddings, and so Royle Forest was born in 2020—yet the spirit of the farm remains, still very much home to a variety of livestock - including chickens, sheep, and horses. Guests staying on-site can even enjoy freshly laid eggs from our treasured Royle hens! 💚

''Where do we even begin?! Royle Forest were absolutely amazing, start to finish.

We looked at so many wedding venues online and were blown away by Royle Forest. Fraser and the team have done an incredible job at creating something so unique and beautiful. We booked on one of their open days and it was even more beautiful in person. The ceremony area is stunning and romantic, and the reception area is gorgeous and so conducive to a wonderful atmosphere. We booked straight away.

On the day, our guests were absolutely blown away by the venue. We think pretty much every single guest told us how magical/beautiful/wonderfully secluded the venue was. Rachel and the team ensured that the day ran so smoothly, and they were so friendly and polite with us and our guests - a lovely part of the day.

We couldn’t have possibly imagined a better wedding venue. 5 stars feels nowhere near enough. We would highly, HIGHLY recommend Royle Forest. ''
