The Little Town is now officially closed. Thank you to everyone who visited & made it the community it was. I will miss you greatly.

I fundamentally believe children are amazing. They are born with no agenda, a heart full of joy and a thirst for learning.

Teach them well. Show them how to just be, how to be bored so they can explore their own imaginations.

For their imaginations are gardens that should be tended to, so they may grow into creative, problem solving, confident adults in a world full of too much structure.

It’s been my pleasure to serve you, especially in the town I have called home for most of my life.

Be safe, love courageously and don’t forget, you can’t fill someone else’s cup if yours is empty.

If you are collecting something and have paid…today I’m open until 2, otherwise please message me privately to arrange collection. (I would avoid Tuesday for big stuff as it’s market day.)

You have no idea how much your support means to a small business owner.

The landscape in the children’s play sector has shifted, for a lot of reasons.

One of which is widely reported to be the introduction of all the new childcare funding.

It’s heartbreaking to watch play centres up and down the country literally begging their audiences to visit, or worse still, not opening due to lack of visitors. 😢

🙏If you love the local resources we have, I implore you to use them when you can.

🙏Take pictures and share and tag them on your socials when you visit to help them grow their audience.

🙏 Recommend them to friends as often as you are able.

🙏Buy session gift vouchers for birthdays instead of toys. Experiences and memories made over broken toys in landfill.😢

🙏 Summer is understandably a quiet time, so why not think about purchasing a play pass then which you can use throughout the winter months.

🙏 This is a sensitive one…be honest about your child’s age when booking.

It really could be the difference between losing these local facilities…and not.
