Yesterday was fun, insane, exhausting, rewarding… the list of emotions goes on. 6 days prep work, 14 centrepieces, cake florals, seating plan garlands and a massive backdrop of dreeeeeams!

We were at the venue for 6am, back at 3pm and then collected it all at the stroke of midnight.

Go big or go home right! My bride wanted a magical, ethereal backdrop with pinks and silvers.

We used faux vintage pink and cream hydrangeas, dark pink roses, delphiniums, orchids and lots of lush artificial eucalyptus.

Yes this is all faux! Yes it looks real. And that’s why we’re ‘deluxe’ blooms. 🙌🏼🌸

After 18 months of changes, restrictions, delays and cancelled plans, it’s so nice to see my couples be able to have a proper wedding breakfast. To be able to move around and chat to their guests rather than table service. To have a real evening do. Dancing and singing and, get this… hugging!

It might still feel very strange to some of us for the world to be opening up again. And I totally get that. It’s a bit of a shock. But for these brides and grooms who have had such disappointment and lost money along the way, I’m delighted that these gorgeous couples finally get to have their day x

Now that weddings are in full flow, my inbox has been going crazy and LOTS of you are wanting beautiful backdrops. I’m so glad this is a trend that’s around to stay.
