Cyprus Hall is a community venue run by Cyprus Hall Community Association. The venue includes a large hall with kitchen, a large meeting room with kitchen and 2 small committee rooms. Starford Hall houses a badminton court and can also be used for short mat bowls. A selection of large and small tables are available for use seating up to 150 people. Staging is also available for concerts, plays and

fashion shows. Attached to the hall is a large kitchen with china and cutlery for up to 100 people. Millfield is a large meeting room seating up to 35 people (depending on layout). Maple is a small committee room seating 12-14 people. The room has access to the Millfield kitchen. Starford Hall, Millfield and Maple are wheelchair accessible with disabled toilet facilities. Downsview is a committee room seating up to 20 people; this room is not wheelchair accessible.

4 parking spaces are available for hall users at the front of the hall. Further parking is available in the Cyprus Road Car Park (fees apply 08:00-18:00, Monday-Saturday, excluding bank holidays). Cyprus Hall Community Association runs a short mat bowls club at the hall and new members are welcome.

Changing Times event: IMMINENT UFO DISCLOSURE..?

UFO expert ALAN FOSTER comes to Cyprus Hall, Burgess Hill, Tues 18 March 2025.

On Tuesday 18 March at 8.15pm, top UFO researcher Alan Foster will be investigating some of the recent extraordinary developments in official US military discussions about the UFO phenomenon at the Changing Times lecture series at Cyprus Hall in Burgess Hill, West Sussex.

Following unprecedented Congressional and NASA hearings in the US about UFOs and shocking testimonies from former intelligence and military personnel about crash-retrievals of UFOs and Non-Human Intelligences, Alan highlights some phenomenal pilot sightings of UFOs from direct witness testimony, the chronology of the current Disclosure process, and the developing and profound revelations about claimed psychic contact with UFOs.

Alan Foster is an international lecturer on UFOs and his career includes 19 years in the airline industry.

Changing Times’s public presentations are held throughout the year at Cyprus Hall, Cyprus Road, in Burgess Hill, and have been running for 34 years.

U3a's September meeting features an entertaining and informative talk entitled "A beginning, a muddle and an end: where do Novelists get their ideas from?" in which Bobbie Darbyshire explains how the complex world of characters, location, plot and subplot arrives in a writer’s mind. Bobbie Derbyshire was the winner of the 2008 fiction prize at the National Academy of Writing.
