One of those little wedding moments that happens in a flash — the dress, the flowers, a helping hand and a lot of laughter.

Love these bits in between the big moments. The things that weren’t necessarily planned, but somehow capture the feeling of the day perfectly. This gorgeous couple just didn't stop smiling all day, great for their photographer Kelly Weech!

I loved being there to look after the on-the-day coordination for this lovely pair, making sure everything ran smoothly behind the scenes while they got on with enjoying every minute.

Flowers, but make them a little wild.

We loved the meadowy feel of the flowers at R & W’s wedding at Launcells Barton.

The mix of soft roses, dahlias, delicate blooms and those beautiful spiky eryngiums felt so at home in the garden — relaxed and colourful.

Just one of the things we love about a summer wedding in Cornwall.

So, its not a solar eclipse, but this sunset kiss is still special.

Golden hour as its known, often provides photographers with great light and great photo opportunities. A good photographer is worth their weight in gold and Yeti Photography captured some absolute gems of F&G's wedding in Devon, also helped by them being such a gorgeous couple! The photos are the only thing you have left after your day - apart from each other! - so its worth investing to get some really good shots.

Planning an outdoor ceremony or a marquee wedding? As we head into a heatwave here in the UK, here are a few things to think about:

Plenty of water (not just at the bar)
Shade for guests
A realistic timeline (heat slows everything down)
A plan if the marquee gets too warm

Outdoor ceremonies and marquee weddings are amazing, but they do need a bit more thought behind the scenes to make them feel effortless.

Happy Easter!

Ok, I know it’s not an Easter Egg, but look how beautiful this cake is and my couple said it was just delicious!

I love this style of cakes, they are truly a work of art and Nicole of sweet_satisfaction_cakes outdid herself with this one. I confess, I haven’t got such a delight to tuck into today, so it looks like I’ll be nibbling at the kids Easter eggs when they’re not looking.

We did it!

I still remember feeling like this on my wedding day, and when I was a bridesmaid to one of my oldest friends having one of these moments.

Weddings are a lot. Lots to coordinate and organise, but this moment right here is what its all about - actually being married! I don't always get to see this special moment as often, if my couples marry at a church, I'm busy getting everything ready at their reception. So when I do, its extra special for me. Although, equally, probably a good thing I don't get to see it too often, I'm a sucker for a wedding and it always makes me well up!

Given myself a slap on the wrist today for missing posting on Valentine’s Day - wedding planner faux pas!

But, yesterday I took the day off wedding planning to do something for the community to do some local volunteering, driving someone to their hospital appointment 40 miles away. Being in Cornwall, we’re not blessed with lots of hospitals or great transport to get around, it’s nice to be able to help out.

So, a belated happy valentines to you all and especially to you lucky ones who managed to put a ring on it!

So as ever I’m always working quietly behind the scenes on various things. One thing I’m excited to tell you all about is that I now offer decor hire!

So often I get asked by brides if I have decor they can hire from me for their wedding to save them having to source from elsewhere or make themselves. Before relocating to Cornwall I did have some lovely items for hire but had to sell them in the move so I’ve started again from scratch, but my collection is growing all the time!

Take a look at the beautiful wooden arch created by the very talented Mr Wild, looking gorgeous with some draping and cylinder vases and candles. All ready for L&C to get married under at one of my favourite venues - Hallsannery House.

As I say, the collection is just beginning so if you’ve got something in mind but can’t see it, get in touch anyway as I love having an excuse to get something new! And don’t forget I can also dress your venue for you too
