The Flower House is reopening tomorrow! 🌸

It’s been a busy couple of weeks behind the scenes, and The Flower House has been a little quieter than usual while I’ve been working on some exciting projects!

From Fleurs de Villes at Somerset House to FleurEx and a fabulous video shoot with Oasis Floral Products, it’s certainly been a whirlwind of flowers, creativity and wonderful opportunities! 💕

But I’m pleased to say The Flower House will be back open tomorrow, Monday 12th October!

I’ll be welcoming a fresh delivery of beautiful flowers and will be ready to take your orders for bouquets, gifts and local deliveries. Our online shop is open or you can contact me directly. 🌺

Thank you for your patience while I’ve been off doing what I love. I’m looking forward to getting back into my little flower studio and creating some beautiful designs for you all! 🩷

And just like that… Fleurs de Villes DIANA has come to an end 🤍

What an experience this has been.

From the very first ideas, countless hours of planning and making, to finally seeing our Diana standing at Somerset House, it’s been one of those projects I know I’ll never forget.

Creating this design alongside Nicola Armstrong and Flowers by Donna Cornish, representing the British Florist Association, was something incredibly special. We poured so much into every tiny detail, from the flowers and textures to the gold embellishments, her hair, jewellery and all those little finishing touches that brought her to life.

And then to be awarded Best in Show… well, that really was the icing on the cake. 🏆✨

There were long days, tired feet, plenty of problem solving and a LOT of flowers, but also so much laughter, pride and some brilliant memories with my dream team.

A huge thank you to Fleurs de Villes for inviting us to be part of such an extraordinary exhibition, to the British Florist Association for the opportunity, and to Tom Brown Wholesale Florist for supplying the beautiful flowers and dried materials that helped us create her.

Seeing so many people stop, look, photograph her and appreciate the craftsmanship behind floral design has been pretty amazing.

So here she is, captured beautifully one last time. Our Diana. 🤍

A little proud mum moment from FleurEx 🤍

This year’s show was extra special for me. Not only was it my first FleurEx as Membership Secretary for the British Florist Association, but I also had Charles there with me, taking care of the videography for the BFA throughout the weekend. 🥰

I was so proud watching him get stuck in and be part of an industry that has been such a huge part of my life for so many years.

What a weekend it was! Lots of hard work, plenty of laughs, so many familiar faces and new ones too. It really reminded me what a wonderful, supportive and incredibly talented industry we have. 🌸

Feeling very proud of FleurEx, proud of the BFA team and, most of all, very proud to have this one by my side. ❤️

Friday night at the FPC Fresh Awards 2026 ✨🥂

So grateful to have been a finalist in the Independent Retailer of the Year category. To have my small business recognised alongside so many brilliant businesses really does mean such a lot.

It was also so lovely to share the evening with some of my BFA colleagues who were also finalists and up for an award. Such a brilliant night celebrating so many people within our industry.

I didn’t bring home the trophy this time, but being shortlisted and getting to enjoy such a fabulous evening was definitely something to celebrate. Very proud of how far The Flower House has come 💕🌸

One year apart… and TWO Fleurs de Villes awards! 🏆🌸

Last year our little dream team came together for Fleurs de Villes Downton Abbey and won Most Creative… fast forward one year and we’re back again for Fleurs de Villes DIANA, this time bringing home Best in Show! 🤍✨

Two completely different designs, two incredible experiences and two awards that we’re ridiculously proud of.

Teamwork really does make the dream work 🤍✨

This time last week, the three of us were travelling from different ends of the country to come together and put the final finishing touches to our Diana before install day.

A week later, we’ve got this photo, our Best in Show award and so many brilliant memories from the whole experience. 🥹

So proud of what we created together and very lucky to have Nicola and Donna by my side. The dream team strikes again! 🤍
