This small, niche practice is headed up by Joules who works from her home studio in the beautiful North Buckinghamshire village of Padbury where she also runs floristry courses.

Autumn inspiration and still one of our absolute favourite set ups. Flipping between the seasons when working on wedding proposals reminds me just how good it feels to embrace each season for what it does best. Even on a grey day like today you always know there will be brighter days just around the corner. Autumn weddings provide the opportunity to create a warm and cosy ambience with rich colours/textures and glowing candlelight. If you’re planning an autumn wedding, go for it 🍂🍂🍂

I’m currently finalising some early summer wedding proposals and have been thinking a lot about colour. I love and all white and green wedding full of textures and layers but I also love working with colours, they tend to get deeper and richer as the seasons change and we move into autumn but either way, it comes down to personal preference. Just talk to your florist, we may even come up with some suggestions you hadn’t thought of. The palette for this early summer bouquet was soft and muted but those pops of plum tones added an extra depth that I was so happy with. Happy weekend 🥂

It’s our first post of the New Year and we’re nearly through January but we have been busy planning behind the scenes, honestly 🤣 It promises to be another exciting year of beautiful weddings, we can’t wait to get back on it. First up I’m taking the opportunity to reminisce and to say a very happy anniversary to Marie & Ryan, I remember your magical winter wedding like it was yesterday. And she’s up 👍🏼 The first time in years I have had a wreath on our door before Christmas Eve 🤣 I never quite know how my wreath is going to turn out but each year I relax and fall into the groove, allowing myself to be drawn to the ingredients that pull me in. Maybe it doesn’t really look like Christmas but that’s okay because I love her and so does our door.

Making wreaths is such an immersive experience if you don’t overthink where you’re going with it. When we run our workshops, it’s fascinating to see everyone’s creations evolve into unique reflections of the individuals making them, there’s often a little hint of personality shining through. Not sure what that says about mine, scatty probably 🤣 Now to get ready to run another workshop this evening, really looking forward to welcoming you all, Joules X

The sun is shining and it’s such a beautiful day but I am just going to step out of my autumnal bubble for a brief moment to mention the “C” word 🎄 I am delighted to say that we are running our Christmas workshops again this year. All dates are online (link in our bio) and you can book directly via the shop on our website. I am thrilled to announce that this year we will be running some of our larger workshops from a new venue - the light, airy & cosy studio (more information to follow). We are also running a limited number of smaller groups from our own garden studio and we do have a few potential slots left if you would like to book a private group - please just ping me a message if you are interested.

I love an urn full of flowers, these beautiful early autumn urns were for Dominique & James this weekend. First in the church then a few hours later, after a little loitering during the service 😂repositioned for the wedding reception to be enjoyed again
It’s so rewarding to re-purpose where we can, and definitely makes your flower budget work for you.

To celebrate all that is magical about this season and the transition from the warmer summer months, we are running an autumn wreath workshop again this year. There is definitely a chill in the air, the nights are drawing in and it feels like we’re gently sliding into early autumn. I absolutely love the transition from one season to the next and I think this is my favourite. All the richer, deeper colours and textures. Here’s my urn of garden treasures, Mother Nature is still working hard but definitely getting ready to slow down 🍂

Here’s a little ray of sunshine on this grey day, these beautiful dahlias have been shining bright in our garden all summer and are steadfastly refusing to dull even the greyest of days.

I am so happy to be back and catch up on all your news after a little “sabbatical” spending some wonderful quality time with my family and embracing every second of being a new granny. Now I am thrilled to be back in the studio, in my happy place, surrounded by some gorgeous blooms, getting ready for the weekend’s weddings. Happy, happy 1st wedding anniversary to our beautiful and her fabulous

What an action packed year it has been, full of joy, laughter and a whole host of firsts. We are absolutely thrilled to have shared so many special moments with you, knowing that you actually want to hang out with your family is just the best compliment ever and now you are three, we couldn’t be happier for you both. Let’s face it, bringing Bonnie into the world is just the high of all highs, she is utterly adorable ❤️ thank you for making us the proudest grandparents ever. We will treasure watching you grow as parents and promise to always be there for you. Happy days always ###x

When we are setting up for weddings at family homes, we often find ourselves working in the most beautiful settings. For A & S’s glorious summer wedding we had the joy of working on the family farm, surrounded by so much history and even had a farm cart for our workbench, only later to discover that it was a family funeral cart, that’s a first for us 🤣
