Hi all, I just wanted to wish you all a joyful and chocolate-filled Easter weekend.

I will be out of the office from this evening until Tuesday afternoon as I am heading to scotland with my hubby over the bank holiday. I am going to have a well earned few days off before a very busy few wedding packed months.

But don’t worry I will be keeping an eye on my emails, so if anything urgent pops up, I promise to get back to you.

As a wedding celebrant, one of the most valuable (and fun!) parts of the journey with my couples is the wedding rehearsal, and it’s something I always offer!

A rehearsal isn’t just about practicing the logistics (though that’s super important too!)

It’s about creating a moment of calm before the big day, easing any nerves, and ensuring you and your wedding party feel completely comfortable with how everything will flow.

UK law requires that a marriage takes place within a permanent structure. Therefore, we are currently unable to host the legal proceedings. YET! 🤞

BUT we can host a celebrant-led ceremony which, when held outside facing the meadow, is pretty darn magical! 🥰✨🌻🪻☀️

I am counting down the days as it’s not long before I have the absolute joy of officiating B & T’s wedding ceremony next Tuesday at the stunning Crockwell Farm. A venue that perfectly captures the romance and charm of an English countryside wedding. Nestled in the heart of Northamptonshire, Crockwell Farm offers the most breathtaking backdrop.

But my role doesn’t end with the ceremony! I’m also honoured to be staying on as their Master of Ceremonies, ensuring that the celebrations flow seamlessly from start to finish. From introducing speeches to keeping the energy high throughout the day, I’ll be there to make sure B & T and their guests have an unforgettable experience filled with love, laughter, and joy.

Crockwell Farm is such a wonderful venue and I am so honoured to be the only Celebrant they recommend.

One of the best parts of my job is getting to know my couples—their love stories, quirks, and special moments. So, I thought it was only fair to share a little about myself too!

Here goes…

✨ I’ve been married to my amazing husband, David (aka Mr. W), for almost 25 years—our silver anniversary is this June! Not only is he my biggest supporter, but he’s also my official event crew, always by my side helping to set up at wedding shows.

✨ Together, we have two incredible grown-up daughters, Grace & Maddie, who have always been my biggest cheerleaders. And let’s not forget our four-legged diva, Flossie, a very spoiled Parson Russell Terrier!

✨ I once appeared on the BBC game show The Weakest Link! I made it all the way to the final… only to lose on the last question (still not over it!).

✨ My laugh is loud & infectious

✨ I’m usually the first one on the dance floor and the last one to leave.

✨ I’ve been a Prince fan for as long as I can remember. I own nearly all of his music, saw him live 10+ times.

✨ I absolutely love the theatre, especially musicals—I could watch them every week!

✨ I’m a sucker for a good Marvel film, but my all-time favourites will always be the ‘80s classics: The Breakfast Club and Pretty in Pink (yes, I’m that old!).

✨ I hate ironing with a passion. Enough said.

✨ One of my absolute favourite places in the world is Cornwall, and I make sure to visit at least once a year—it just feels like home.

And most importantly…

💍 I adore being a celebrant. after years working in the world of weddings & events, becoming a Celebrant has been the best decision I have ever made!

I’m beyond excited for my next wedding ceremony at the breathtaking Fawsley Hall, a venue that will always have a special place in my heart. Not only have I had the joy of attending two very special weddings there in the past

Last summer, I had the joy of working with and for A & J’s beautiful ceremony, and even before my celebrant days, I had the honour of coordinating many unforgettable weddings here as a planner.

Now, on the 15th, I get to return once again—this time to officiate Shauna & Jon’s special day!

Working with this wonderful couple has been an absolute dream, and I cannot wait to share their ceremony in such a stunning setting, surrounded by the love of their family and friends. I just know it’s going to be magical! ✨
