What a fab day - plenty of sun, smiles and hunting for Nature 🌞🐝🎋🍡🌳 (Oh and Cakes Cakes Cakes) . with oodles of thanks to Kanako's Cakes and The House of Hope and Mercy in the Jungle - an amazing tea shop in Exeter :D

When a Maiko 'graduates' to Geiko these days she moves from wearing her own hair up in traditional style (and sleeping in it for a week between hairdresser visits) to wearing a wig. So a ceremony is held where the special style (Sakkou) is taken apart for the last time! Here is Hachiko at her last ozashiki as Maiko 🥹🤩🥳
