**JOB VACANCY**
We are looking for an extra member of staff to join our team!

We are looking for a Driver/shop assistant (not just a driving job)

This is a lovely little job for a person over the age of 25 for insurance purposes with our company vans which are manual.

Applicant will learn the names of the flowers, care & condition stock each day, load the van with deliveries & take them out!

Days are flexible & between Mon-Sat. A minimum of 11 hours per week. Hours are flexible depending on amount of deliveries we have. You will be required to work more hours at peak seasons & staff holiday cover.

Father's Day can mean many different things to many different people.

Today, we're thinking of the dads who are here to celebrate, the fathers-to-be, the grandads who stepped into a father's role, and the father figures who have made a lasting difference in someone's life.

We're also holding space for those whose dads are no longer with them. For many, Father's Day is a day of love, memories, reflection, and longing.

As florists, we're privileged to see flowers shared for every emotion and every occasion—celebration, gratitude, remembrance, and love. Today is no different.

As Father's Day comes to a close, we would like to say a sincere thank you to everyone who entrusted us with creating their cemetery tributes and memorial arrangements.

We know that Father's Day can be a difficult time for many families as they remember and honour fathers, grandfathers, and loved ones who are no longer with us. It has been a privilege to help you pay tribute to those special people with flowers made with care, love, and respect.

People think being a florist is all about playing with pretty flowers all day. 🌸

The reality?

I'm the florist, delivery driver, cleaner, stock controller, social media manager, customer service department, accountant, tea maker, and chief problem solver.

One minute I'm creating a beautiful bouquet, the next I'm wrestling with cardboard boxes, chasing suppliers, and explaining why flowers need water. 😂

And when the bin is overflowing? There's no maintenance team to call. It's just me & my team climbing in the bin like an Olympic gymnast, trying to squash everything down to fit more in! 🗑️🤸‍♀️

So if you ever drive past and see a pair of legs sticking out of the bin, don't panic—I'm not trapped. I'm just wearing yet another hat in the glamorous world of floristry. 🌷🤣

Thank you for supporting my little business and keeping me busy (and occasionally waist-deep in rubbish!).
