This epic hoop was made for quite the Wiltshire wedding last month, and before I move into hoops of a much smaller scale (wreath season officially began last night with my first private workshop in Tisbury) but this giant autumnal beauty deserves its own space on the grid. It was over 3m across and packed with the best of autumn foliage and flowers. Installed over the garden water feature, now all enclosed and rigged within the most stunningly beautiful Indian block printed petal marquee.
So many details from this wedding still to share….A wedding website update is long overdue

I’ve been off Instagram for a month now which makes no business sense whatsoever - so many of my lovely connections and commissions come through this platform!
So here is me saying hi! I’m Debs, I run LUNARIA, here I am in my cutting garden with a bumper late crop of amaranthus ready to be dried to use within my work.
I’ve lots to share from recent weeks and before we get into the big C….

I love an October wedding. The best textures from seed heads and bracken, natural golden tones, and the last British flowers before the season ends are so so treasured.

This beauty was a perfect micro wedding in all my favourite local Bruton places…

October at its finest at the weekend with vibrant autumnal textures and tones from heaps of British foliage and blooms.
Here are scenes from our church set up in Wiltshire for the lovely Alice and Will 🤎
The 2 meter wide altar decoration adding wild and abundant backdrop impact, with low level decoration at the steps, and the sweetest bud vase placement on the window sills giving the prettiest details in the light ✨(these were later moved to the tables for dinner, a perfect dual use) 🤎

A few stems from the cutting garden arranged in a favourite footed bowl.
I’m so grateful for the downpour yesterday (although at the time I was at the school fete with a glass of Pimm’s huddling under a tree yet still getting drenched which felt hilariously British 😆) But we needed that rain so much and all the plants are much happier today.
This sunflower is a new variety I’m growing this year called Astra Rose, the colouring is beautiful and the heads aren’t too big making it a win. Sitting with corncockle, dahlia, a single cosmos and lots of my favourite perennial grasses pennisetum villosum (Chinese fountain grass)
Also spot the intruder who was hiding in the dahlia and emerged to photobomb the shot 🐞
