Hi, I’m Ross 👋
If you’re new around here, I thought it was about time I properly introduced myself.
I’m Ross, the person behind Auréle Films.
For those who have been around a little longer, you might know me from the days when the business was called Signature Videography. The name has changed, but the reason I picked up a camera in the first place really hasn’t.
I love people. I love stories. And I love being able to preserve a moment that, otherwise, would only ever live in someone’s memory.
There’s something pretty special about being invited into such important days in people’s lives. Getting to witness the nerves before the ceremony, the ridiculous dance floors, the quiet moments between the chaos, and all the little interactions that nobody else notices.
Those are the moments I’m looking for.
I’ve never wanted to make films that simply look nice. I want them to feel like you.
The laughter. The happy tears. The nerves. The people you love. The Chaotic Dance floors. The moments you didn’t even realise were happening until you see them back.
Outside of filming, I’m probably happiest doing something fairly simple, spending time with family, going to the gym, getting outside, riding fast bikes, finding good food, or generally trying to make the most of the time we have.
And I think that’s probably why I care so much about what I do.
Life moves ridiculously quickly. People change, children grow, and moments that feel ordinary today can become incredibly important years from now.
Being trusted to capture some of those moments is something I never want to take for granted.
