Oh the mess! Time for a shake up, deep clean and re-organise - something I’ve been dreading as it’s such a HUGE job.
An owner’s optimism, hope & trust helps to run small businesses, and sometimes these three core beliefs run on empty, especially when the never ending tasks in hand seem so big.
So. As we experiment (again) with the small space for our students and parents to take a break, we try to recycle where we can, but it is really hard trying to a square peg fit a round hole time and time again. I’m sure I’ve moved things back to where they were before lol.
‘Oh to have the chance to of a proper shop fit!’
‘Oh to have proper storage!’
I honestly don’t know how other businesses do it.
Perhaps as we go Ltd, our funding application chances may improve 🤞
But. Now I feel guilty for moaning as we are very very lucky too 🎢🎢
So. A good nights sleep, my sons making me laugh, and a deep breath, as I know tomorrow is another step closer to a tidier, cleaner and re-organised quirky, cosy and homely little studio that will offer a new private space for our older Membership students to work, a welcoming space to take a break and where parents can grab a cuppa while they wait, and (if I can solve the square peg, round hole reusing old furniture) a little kitchenette too.
All by Tuesday.
