To our lovely staff,

I hope you are all well.

As you may or may not be aware our director Steve Hamson will embark on a 400km cycle through the Kenya Rift Valley to Lake Victoria from 11th-20th October all in aid of raising money for the Regain charity- https://regainsportscharity.com

Regain is the only charitable organisation dedicated to improving the lives of people who have become tetraplegic in a sporting accident. One minute these individuals are fit, active and healthy , the next they are paralysed and in nee of support for the rest of their lives. Because regain is a small charity with a very specific cause, the funds raised go a long way into helping them carry out their work and enabling people to regain their independence and get back into sport after their accident.

Steve’s target is to raise £10,000 to go towards the charity and we are currently at £860. We currently have a vacancy for an operations assistant for a very busy event and catering company.

The role would suit a recent university graduate from a relevant degree or a person with a strong desire to make their first steps into the event industry. This role is mainly office based but you may be occasionally expected to work on events, go on site visits and meetings.

Skills and requirements:
Fully IT competent in Microsoft Office, Social Media and Sage
Full driving licence and your own vehicle would be beneficial.
Good telephone manner and social skills, highly organised with good time management and a sense of humour
Previous office/administration experience required, and any hospitality experience would be preferred
