Can’t wait to be back doing what we do best tomorrow… 🍕❤️

After everything that’s happened recently, the response from our local community has been absolutely incredible. The messages, offers of help and support have genuinely meant more to us than we can put into words.

And thanks to the brilliant guys at Stefania's Wood Fired Pizza , HyLife Pizza Co. will be back slinging pizzas tomorrow night! 🙌

They’ve very kindly offered to lend us their trailer so we can still cater the fantastic Torbay Twilight — something we honestly didn’t think we’d be able to do just a couple of weeks ago.

It might not look quite like the HyLife you’re used to, but inside it’ll be the same authentic, hand-stretched Neapolitan pizzas, made with the same love. 🍕🔥

We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who’s helped us get back on our feet so quickly — and especially to Stefania’s for stepping in and making tomorrow possible.

A week on already… we had to say goodbye yesterday😢 she’s been taken off to the insurers to evaluate everything 🤞🏻 it’s a smooth process…

I can’t quite believe I’m writing this… 💔

After another incredible service last night, it was just me and Archer, my 5-year-old son, packing up and getting ready to head home — just like we do every week.

We’d driven no more than 5 yards when I stopped to take a photo of the van with the most beautiful sunset behind it.

As I looked back up, the cab — with Archer still sitting in the passenger seat — was engulfed in flames.

What happened next is honestly a bit of a blur. I managed to get Archer out within seconds and called the fire service.

Thankfully, we are both OK. ❤️ And that is the only thing that truly matters.

Sadly, it was too late for the van.

We are absolutely devastated. As a family, we have poured our hearts and souls into this little business, and it genuinely felt like we were starting to create something really special.

To every single one of our amazing customers, old and new — thank you. Week after week, you amazed us with the support and love you showed HyLife. The sell-outs, the queues, the messages, the laughs, the kids playing while pizzas were cooking… we loved every minute of it. 🍕❤️

To everyone who had us booked for events this summer, we are so sorry. We had a completely full calendar ahead of us and were so excited, We’re heartbroken that, for now, those plans can’t happen.

But we keep coming back to the same thing…

No one was hurt.

It could have been so, so much worse, and for that we are incredibly grateful.

The van may be gone, but HyLife isn’t.

This is not the end. It’s just a setback. 🍕❤️✌🏻

We’ll be back.

We say it every week, but you never fail to amaze us. ❤️

We weren’t sure if opening on a random Saturday at such short notice was the right decision… but wow, you all proved us wrong!

The sun was shining, the kids were playing, and plenty of fresh, delicious pizzas were enjoyed. ☀️🍕 What more could you ask for?

Thank you so much for your continued support. It genuinely means the world to our little business.
