EMBROIDERY WORKSHOP WITH ADRIANA TORRES >> Ticket link in profile

We are beyond delighted to be welcoming BuenosAires-based illustrator, designer and embroiderer Adriana Torres who is in the UK briefly for a series of embroidery workshops and has added some extra dates to her workshop tour to visit us in Bristol and share her beautiful world of embroidery with us.

In this workshop, for which no prior experience is necessary, participants will explore a new alphabet inspired by the flora and fauna of the forest.

During 5 hours you will learn many embroidery stitches, such as Colcha stitch, Towel stitch, Quaker stitch, Argentinian Knot, Argentinian square knot, and The Argentinian Picot, among others. These are brand new stitches that Adriana will share for the first time during this tour through Europe, America and Asia.

Super excited to share that my London class on July 12th at is fully booked, with just a couple of spots left for Sunday!

Registrations are now open for Brighton, Bristol, and Abergavenny. And as of today, you can also sign up for the Vienna Workshops… this will be my first time teaching in Austria!

On this tour, I’ll be hitting at least five cities and countries I’ve never even visited before. I’m beyond thrilled!

Happy hands, happy hearts. popped up at the Forge last month and we had the best of afternoons making together, with embroidery, waste paper weaving, block & lino printing on the menu.
