🌿 From Flower Market to Front Door: The Journey of a Bouquet
A bouquet doesn't begin when we pick up the scissors. By the time it reaches someone's front door, the flowers have already had quite a journey.
It starts with the flowers themselves. We choose blooms for their freshness, colour, shape and season, always looking at what is looking its best that day.
When the flowers arrive at the shop, there is work to do before we can use them. Stems are trimmed, unwanted foliage is removed and the flowers are placed into fresh water so they can properly hydrate.
Once they are ready, they become part of the shop — standing in buckets and waiting to become someone's bouquet.
Then comes our favourite part: creating. We choose flowers that work together in colour, shape and texture, arranging each bouquet by hand. No two are ever quite the same because every bunch of flowers is slightly different.
Finally, the bouquet is wrapped, finished with a card and carefully checked before it leaves us.
And then it begins its final journey — to someone's home, workplace or perhaps to someone who simply needs a little reminder that they are loved.
Behind every bouquet there is a grower, fresh flowers, a florist's hands and quite a lot of care.
More than just flowers — a little feeling, wrapped and ready to be delivered.
